Most cities and sadly villages across the world already experience impacts of climate change, whether in severity of heat extremes, storms and even droughts.
Climate change is expected to make agricultural development more challenging. Weather patterns are becoming less favorable in many instances, increasing the volatility of crop and livestock yields. The frequency and/or severity of extreme events is increasing as temperatures are projected to continue rising, and rainfall patterns are expected to shift more than they have already, posing risks of famine to most rural inhabitants especially in poorer communities.
Amshaamsha Foundation was formed to help villages and cities to navigate the challenges of climate change using innovative adaptation and mitigation measures, including the use of clean energy, (PUE) especially in our economic activities.
